As a senior, I find myself reflecting back to the things I knew, or didn't know, during my first year here. As the end of this year rolls in, and seniors begin packing up their dorm rooms for the very last time, a list of ten things comes to mind.
TFC Theatrical Society Presents Shakespeare’s The Tempest
Beginning this Friday, the Toccoa Falls College Theatrical Society (TFCTS) will be performing William Shakespeare’s The Tempest. This performance will be filled with magical creatures, plots to murder, romance, and the all-powerful forces of nature.
Athlete Spotlight: Hudson Allen
18-year-old, Hudson Allen, began playing as a shooting guard for the men’s basketball team since he arrived at Toccoa Falls College in Fall of 2017. When asked what his favorite part of playing basketball at TFC is, he said “definitely the competition.”
Black Spade Society Interview
For the past few semesters an extensive video project has been underway at Toccoa Falls College. Lead by the Black Spade Society, a club run by James Hutton, this collaborative project is an ambitious undertaking to create a television-worthy show about life at TFC.

The Effect of Music on Heart Rate
To test which types of music could be used for heartrate suppression or stimulation, three TFC students performed a test in which a select number of students at Toccoa Falls College were tested for heart rate in response to a certain genre of music.

Sometimes, one might question why the Friday before Easter is considered “Good Friday.” When you think about it, death is a tragic and horrible end to Jesus being ruthlessly tortured, when He did nothing wrong, then nailed to the cross for transgressions that were not His.

Athlete Spotlight: Michaela Priatko
Toccoa Falls College Freshman Michaela Priatko has been playing center back for the women’s soccer team since the Fall of 2017. Michaela started playing soccer with Upwards at the age of four, and she has been playing for various teams and organizations ever since.
