Athlete Spotlight: Hudson Allen
18-year-old, Hudson Allen, began playing as a shooting guard for the men’s basketball team since he arrived at Toccoa Falls College in Fall of 2017.
For the most part, Hudson grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. However, when he was 11, Hudson lived in Texas and began playing basketball with Upwards. After Upwards, he began playing for various pick up teams and Spring leagues; he liked it so much, he never stopped.
When asked what his favorite part of playing basketball at TFC is, he said “definitely the competition.” He went on to say that he also loves being part of the team, and enjoys some of the away game destinations - Florida being his favorite.
Hudson said that with games and practices taking up so much time, his biggest struggle is time-management. He is involved with several organizations and committees on campus, so it has taken some time getting the hang of balancing all of the various events, groups, as well as his relationships with friends and family.
Hudson has several family members who have come to TFC; his older sister Mackenzie is currently enrolled here. He is at TFC for a degree in pre-med, and, after graduation, he is hoping to attend medical school in order to prepare for work in medical missions.
