    Lillian Greenfield is pursuing a double major in Criminal Justice and Counseling Psychology. She enjoys watching movies, crocheting, and playing Xbox. Greenfield’s favorite book is "The Road” by Cormac McCarthy; which she first read as a requirement for a class. She prefers to interview members of the campus community. This semester, she hopes to share some of her creative writings, such as her short stories and poetry.

    Haley Cross is pursuing a degree in Nursing. She has had a passion for writing and literature since middle school. Beyond her interests in journalism and fiction writing, she loves playing the piano and “writing music wherever inspiration strikes.” Cross is a native of Bridgton, Maine, and has loved the experience of living in a new place while attending college. She says the mountains, lakes, and natural beauty of her home state have helped foster her love of the outdoors. She loves writing about music, club events and news, poetry, and “anything to do with the arts.” She says, “Overall I’m interested in anything that displays beauty; the beauty in the world around us, and the beauty of the talent and abilities that God has gifted us. I hope to encourage people and inspire them through my writing, and ultimately give God the glory for all of it.”

    Laney Anderson is pursuing a degree in Communications, with a concentration on Interpersonal Studies. She is a native of the Metro Atlanta area and loves “the city life.” Anderson writes music and creates songs to “glorify the Lord.” Additionally, she likes reading and listening to podcasts. Some of her favorites are a book titled “Masterpiece” by Francine Rivers and the “Becoming Something” podcast hosted by Johnathan Podkulda. Anderson loves to adventure to new places and says it helps her to “build community with others.” Her favorite articles to write include devotionals, current events, and especially features on ministry leaders.

    Randy Hollingsworth

    Faculty Advisor

    Dr. Randall Hollingsworth, more affectionately known as “Dr. H” by his students, began teaching at TFC in 2017. He currently serves the college as a professor of communications and Humanities Department Chair. He enjoys building community with his students in and out of the classroom, spending time with his family, partaking in outdoor activities, and playing guitar and banjo. Dr. H is reputable among students for his intentional and outgoing personality, love for the Lord, and personal wish to see students thrive! The Talon is honored to have Dr. H serve as its faculty advisor.
