“We landed in Kyiv, and the next day, the missiles started coming,” Sky Barkley, a Toccoa Falls College alumnus, said recently. “I didn’t have time to get organized on the ground… So, all of a sudden, we’re in the middle of the invasion, and [we’re] not ready yet.”

Forrest Olympics 2022: Part One
This Spring, the 2022 Forrest Olympics returned with new challenges and a few minor changes. Instead of taking place over several weeks, the Forrest Olympics occurred within a two-week time span. However, this did not lower the amount of competition and enthusiasm from its competitors. The halls of Forrest competed for the bust of Richard A. Forrest, which is on display year-round in the Forrest Shop.
SGA Announces Return of Student Senate
Student Government Association’s Executive Council took on senate responsibilities during the 2021-2022 school year, but the senate will return this fall.
Mr. TFC 2022
The 2022 Mr. TFC competition dazzled Toccoa Falls College students on the night of March 4. This year’s nominees were freshman Kolten Welch , sophomore Sean Brett, junior Wilfred Howe, and senior Michael Olesky. After five rounds of competition that included a lip sync battle, a talent portion, a game of charades, and a “How-To” Presentation, the votes were counted! TFC Athlete Spotlight: Elasha "E" Farmer
Elasha “E” Farmer has played a crucial role in Toccoa Falls College Athletics, specifically women’s soccer, since her freshman year in 2018. After coming to campus for a tour, Farmer said that she fell in love with the community and knew right away that she wanted to pursue her academic and athletic goals at TFC. “It felt like home when I stepped on campus,” she said. Farmer loved the idea of a smaller school where she could cultivate her love of soccer while also playing a large role in the community.
Not-So-Talented TFC
On February 10, the Student Government Association’s Not-So-Talent Show offered students a chance to share their humor with the campus. Upon entering WM104, students were given a party hat to wear during the show. It started with an act called “Stuck on You” by Tim Heath, Jacob Hunt, and Anora Kowalski. Anora told a series of jokes while Heath and Hunt put stick glue all over their faces. This act set the mood for the rest of the show, which only got funnier as the night progressed.
Screaming Eagles: Far From Home
In the last two years, COVID-19 has forced the hibernation of one of Toccoa Falls College’s most beloved programs: study abroad. Pre-pandemic, a student could walk just about anywhere on campus and find posters advertising one trip or another. Studying abroad was a great way for students to gain real-world cultural experience while simultaneously earning class credit!

At the beginning of the Fall 2021 semester, Men’s Head Soccer Coach Shetzi “Ste” Heu challenged his players and the TFC community with a single question: “What is your routine?”
Theatrical Society Puts Fall 2021 to Bed with Fun Stories
With new safety precautions in place this semester, the Theatrical Society was able to return to the Grace Chapel stage with Bedtime Stories (As Told by Our Dad) (Who Messed Them Up) by Ed Monk. Co-directed by TFC seniors and Theatrical Society veterans Joshua Trice and Victoria Almond, this comedic play follows the story of a distressed father who has to tell his three children bedtime stories for the first time.
