Lindsey LaRoche, a rising senior at Toccoa Falls College, will fill the Digital Arts Chair for the  Student Government Association’s 2023-2024 Executive Council.

LaRoche enjoys photography and creating digital content. She says capturing memories and sharing them with others is important, especially within a college community.

The digital arts committee records SGA events through videography and photography. They create video advertisements for upcoming events, including content for SGA’s Instagram account.

LaRoche currently serves on the committee under sophomore Emili Henry, who has decided to step down from the position. LaRoche is excited to fill the position after Henry’s departure.

“I hope to be able to capture as many moments as possible and have them accessible to all students to get some nice pictures of themselves,” LaRoche said.

While she did not reveal many details to keep her video ideas a surprise for the student body, LaRoche is hoping to collaborate with TFC’s Marketing Department and yearbook editor to create and share content. The current connection between Digital Arts, Marketing, and Yearbook are weak, so strengthening them will provide for more direct and clear communication between the three areas.

“I also hope to build a committee next year where I give students the opportunity to create meaningful content and capture great memories,” LaRoche said.
