Lily Ann Waldrep, a rising junior at Toccoa Falls College, will maintain her position as Administrative Specialist Chair for the Student Government Association’s 2023-2024 Executive Council.

The Administrative Specialist is responsible for SGA’s budgeting, as well as their financial documentation and information. They also handle the bookkeeping and inform the rest of SGA’s Executive Council about their current financial standing.

Waldrep’s passion for administrative work began in high school when she worked for her county’s Board of Education as their accounts payable and payroll secretary. She also worked as a financial assistant at a local church in her hometown.

“I think, in short, the reason I chose to reapply for the Admin position after working as it this semester was because I love being in charge of the behind-the-scenes of the team,” Waldrep said. “I love balancing the budget, processing credit reports, keeping the office clean, and making sure everyone has their favorite snacks!”

Waldrep was relieved to learn she would be resuming her position next year.

“When I heard that I would be a part of next year’s SGA team as well, I felt relieved that the Lord is going to be able to continue to reveal new lessons to me about resting and loving the people He’s placed in front of me,” Waldrep said.

Waldrep enjoys organizing and hopes to reorganize the SGA office next year, as well as the warehouse where SGA stores their supplies and props.
