Homecoming Nominees
Madison Smith, Freshman representative, (Cumming, Georgia) is currently undecided on a major, although she is interested in Philosophy and Communication. She wants to pursue a career as an author and speaker. She stated “I am passionate about ministry and would love to use my gifts and abilities to share God's truth with my community and the world.”
Sophomore representative, Kat Clair, (Augusta, Georgia) is undeclared, but leaning towards Counseling and Psychology. Her future plans are to hopefully go on to get a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She is hopeful to work in the Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS).
Junior representative, Jennie Griner, (Savannah, GA) is a Cross-Cultural Studies major, and a TESOL minor. Her future plans include working with the C&MA and teaching English either in the states or overseas.
Senior representative 1, Keojah McBryde (Flowery Branch, GA) is a Family and Children's Ministry major. She hopes to become a children's ministry director in a larger church and to someday start her own curriculum company that focuses on teaching children about the Lord in the best way that they learn.
Senior Representative 2, Emily TrueLove (Gainesville, Georgia) is a biology major. She stated, “I'm not sure what the Lord has planned for me but I've dreamed of following in my family's footsteps raising cows on a farm of my own."
Senior Representative 3, Destini Thou (Ruskin, Florida) is a Cross-Cultural Studies major and is also taking Nursing pre-requisites. She hopes to become a missionary nurse. She stated “I have a desire to serve and love on God's people. My heart is for the broken and I want to care for those who are hurt and in need.”
Senior representative 4, Emily Jury (Tyrone, Georgia) is a Sustainable Community Development major. Her dreams is to blend together midwifery and sustainable approaches to develop a chain of pregnancy centers. She is currently studying through Childbirth International to be a birth doula, and as of now, she is looking to further her studies in Finland.
