Spy Games 2017 is Upon Us
Once again, the annual Spy Games are being held at Toccoa Falls College. This game is an anticipated favorite among students that comes every fall semester. This game brings more stress than all the college-work you can imagine and it will make you distrustful your closest friends. All in good water-squirting, head-hunting fun, the thrill of the game keeps people excited and eager to sign up once again.
The rules of the event are simple: Each player is given a "kill card" with a target that must be sought out to squirt with a water gun. If squirted, the player is immediately eliminated and have to surrender their kill card to their killer. After a player dies, the card with his/her face on it is to be turned into the big blue box in the Student Center. Keep in mind that while you are chasing players, someone else is chasing you.
You can ward off a chaser for 30 seconds if you squirt them first. This process is repeated until their is one player standing when the winner will receive a nifty prize. Further rules and regulations will be sent out over email and there will be a meeting discussing everything in detail.
Today is the last day to sign up, so get to the Student Center between 11am and 2pm, where there will be a stand to register for the event and buy a water pistol for two dollars. Alternatively, you can use a water gun of your own choosing.
Last year was insane and over-the-top with special masked killers aided with drones who hunted down those who have not taken out their target in time. There were even Hunger Game-style roll calls on the cafeteria televisions detailing who was still in the games.
Through thick and thin TFC senior Austin Stevens finished first, and, this year, you too may be able to gain the title of 2017 Spy Games winner. Make sure to sign up at the Student Center and be sure to show up to the meeting that takes place on Monday, October 16, in Grace Chapel. Spy Games officially begins Monday, October 16. Good luck to all, and remember... trust no one.
