Mr. TFC 2019

Mr. TFC is a renowned event that has been happening time out of mind. This year, the golden tradition took place on April 16th in the Woerner Missions Building and was put on by the SGA Campus Life committee. Each class selects a representative to send to a pageant of ridiculous competitions to win the title of 'Mr. TFC.' James Sterner was the freshman representative, John Wood was the Sophomore representative, Quez Geter was the Junior representative, and Sky Barkley was the Senior representative. Each contestant took time to consider the energy they would bring to the competition in anticipation of the event, and it showed when the show started.

The competition started out with a talent show. These are not like any other talents. Each representative chose the talent which they thought best displayed their qualifications to win the acclaimed title. These talents included all things from a reenactment of the Napoleon Dynamite dance to a original rap about the TFC campus.

The night did not slow down from there. Contestants were asked to perform in many competitions such as improv and impressions, a cat walk, a hair styling, a Bob Ross painting tutorial, and of course, musical chairs. Each contestant gave their all in each category, and the judges deliberated carefully over their scores.

The night was enjoyed by all as evidenced from the laughter and smiling faces that filled the room. Although each contestant gave their all, only one could walk away as Mr. TFC. After careful consideration from the judges, a decision was made and the hosts announced the winner.

Congratulations, Sky Barkley, your 2019 Mr. TFC.
