Within just minutes of Toccoa Falls College, there are plenty of churches that will welcome you will open arms! Here are five nearby churches if you’re looking to get involved during your time at TFC.  

Ebenezer Baptist Church

Ebenezer Baptist Church (Toccoa, GA) 

Just 10 minutes away from TFC, Ebenezer Baptist Church offers worship services on Sundays at 9:00 am and 10:30 am. The worship services can be joined both in-person and online through their live stream. According to their website, Ebenezer offers a variety of group ministries for kids, students and adults. Ebenezer also offers a young adult ministry group specifically for post high school and college-age students. At Ebenezer, you can find a wide variety of fun-filled events for every age group.

Encounter Church

Encounter Church (Toccoa, GA) 

Encounter Church is around 9 minutes from TFC. Encounter Church is an Assembly of God church whose main goal serves to help people encounter God in a meaningful and relevant way. Encounter offers both Sunday services at 10:00 am and Wednesday services at 6:30 pm. There are also plenty of ministry groups offered. For college students, Encounter offers a “college and career” small group in which they study the Bible together and strive to form lifelong relationships with one another. According to their website, Encounter Church strives to encounter God, encounter community, and encounter purpose. 

First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church of Toccoa (Toccoa, GA) 

Only 6 minutes away from TFC, First Baptist Church of Toccoa offers a variety of services. On Sundays they offer an 8:30 am contemporary service, a 9:45 am Sunday school opportunity, and an 11:00 am traditional service. You can also join the worship service via their livestream. On Wednesday evenings, they offer a 6:30 pm prayer group and a 6:30 pm youth group. According to their website, FBC offers many different groups including community groups and a book club. 

First Baptist Church’s mission is to “Love God and others. Learn and grow in faith. Lead people to Christ.” 

First United Methodist Church

First United Methodist Church (Toccoa, GA)  

A quick 5 minutes from TFC, First United Methodist Church offers a variety of Sunday services. FUMC has an alternative service at 8:30 am, Sunday school at 9:45 am, traditional service at 11:00am and a youth service at 5:00 pm which is also offered on Wednesdays at 6:15 pm. Most of the worship services can be accessed online. According to their website, FUMC offers a college and young adult ministry on Thursday nights from 6:30-8:30 pm.

The Pointe Church

The Pointe Church (Eastanollee, GA) 

The Pointe Church is around 6.5 miles, or about 13 minutes, away from TFC. There are Sunday worship services held at 8:00 am, 9:45 am, and 11:30 am. Throughout the week, The Pointe offers several worship groups for students.  

The Pointe Church’s core beliefs: 

“God is the author and creator of the universe. Salvation is God's grace to man. Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God.”
